Franky Pasaribu - CFO

He is an experienced certified accountant and a financial analyst with over 10 years of experience under his belt. He graduated from University of Indonesia with a degree in Economics. His experience include employment from 1994 until 1997 at Hans Tuanakotta & Mustofa, a member of the Deloitte Touch Tohmatsu International as an auditor and as a Finance & Administration Division Head at PT. Toko Gunung Agung Tbk. one of the first and largest books and stationary retail store in Indonesia. Mr. Pasaribu eventually joined m-STARS as a Financial Controller in 2006 and finally seated CFO position in March 2008.

Despite his hectic schedule, Mr. Pasaribu finds time to contribute back to society by being actively involved in an environmentalist community called Save Lake Toba Community where the activities promote the preservation of Lake Toba’s natural habitat and its surroundings. One of his biggest roles in this community includes acting as a moderator during their frequent forums and talks regarding environmental issues being discussed. In his residential community he is looked up upon and respected by his peers, which is why he acts as the president of his housing residential committee and heads the local church group.

Mr. Pasaribu is also an avid photographer, and during numerous times he has had his work published in the local newspapers. His only philosophy in life is in believing that everyone in this earth is created to be able to create, to make something out of one’s self to fulfil his purpose in life.

When applied to his professional life he claims the following, “As a company becomes profitable and efficient, the more it is able to contribute to the country and its people. And this should be accomplished, without sacrificing the employee’s well-being”
